How to Update an Asset?

You can edit the metadata related to assets like Headline, Description, Copyright, Keywords, Photographer, Instructions, and Rights Usage.

1.  Select the folder of the asset that you want to update.

All the assets in the folder are displayed.

2.  Click the asset you want to edit.

The detailed asset information is displayed.

Note:  You can view the asset information of all the assets in the folder by scrolling the pages of assets on the title bar of the assets.

3.  Click the Metadata option in the left side menu.

All the metadata information that you can edit is displayed.  To edit any of the information in these fields, click the text box below the field, enter the information, and then click to save the information. 

4. Add a good headline for your asset in the textbox below the Headline field. 

5.  Enter any description related to the asset in the textbox below the Description field. 

 6. Enter copyright information if any, in the textbox below the Copyright field.

7.  Enter the keywords separated by a comma in the textbox below the Keywords field.

8.  Enter the name of the photographer if any, in the textbox below the Photographer field.

9.  Enter any specific instructions related to the asset if any, in the textbox below the Instructions field.

10.  Enter any information related to the permissions or restrictions set by you on the use of the asset in the textbox below the Rights Usage field.

The asset metadata information is saved.
