How to Archive Individual / Multiple Asset(s)?

Archive is the area where assets can be put and users who do not have "Write" level access will be allowed to see them. So it is a place for companies to store images they want to keep but not be used on a daily basis. If you want to use the images, you can retrieve them from the archive.

You can archive an individual asset or multiple assets at one go. 

Archiving an Individual Asset

1.  Select the folder of the asset that you want to archive.

All the assets in the folder are displayed.

2.  Click the asset you want to archive.

The detailed asset information is displayed.

3.  Click the Archive option in the left-side menu.

4.  Click Archive Asset.

The asset is now archived.

Archiving Multiple Assets

You can also archive multiple assets to a folder in one go. To do so, you need to be on the Home page.

1.  Navigate to Home page.

2.  Select the folder, the assets of which you want to archive.

3.  Click Archive Assets in the Asset Actions menu.

4.  Select the assets you want to archive.

Note:  If you have not selected the assets, a notification is displayed. 

5.  Click Archive to archive the assets.

The dialog asking you to confirm the archival of assets is displayed.

6.  Click Yes.

The selected assets will be archived.
